Faith C. Penta of Doylestown passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with her loving family by her side at Wesley Enhanced Living of Doylestown.  She was 81.

Faith was the beloved wife of 29 years to Michael J. Penta Jr. 

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Nevins Cassin.

Faith was a devoted wife and mother and she cherished her husband and children.  She was passionate about her work in the medical field and her position as a medical secretary. 

Faith loved to talk, laugh and have fun.  She enjoyed sharing stories with others and made friends everywhere she went.  As her kindergarten teacher once wrote, “Faith is quite a little chatter-box!” 

Having an eclectic range of interests, Faith was an avid fan of Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana and Disney’s Snow White.  She enjoyed listening and dancing to music from Johnny Mathis to Michael Jackson.

Faith adored animals and had an immense love for each of her pets; with many happy childhood memories of her horse Snuffy, to most recently her cat Pumpkin, who held a special place in her heart. 

Faith touched the lives of many.  She held her dear friends close to her heart, and held her family even closer.  Her memory and the love she left behind will be held forever in our hearts.

In addition to her husband, Faith is survived by her children: daughter Cynthia D. Magee and her husband Richard D. Magee, Jr.; and son Gregory E. Davis; her step-children: Elizabeth L. Penta; Michael J. Penta III and his wife Melisa Penta; and her step-grandson Leo Heywood.

Faith’s family will receive friends on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:00 am until her Funeral Service at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1634 Hilltown Pike, Hilltown Township, PA 18927.  Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
