Mark P. Newbold died quietly at his home in Chalfont, PA, on April 30, 2017. He was 63.
The son of William P. and Elizabeth W. Newbold of Langhorne, he lived in the Bucks County area most of his life. Mark graduated from George School, Newtown, PA, and attended New Mexico State University. He worked in construction and in 1983 founded Triangle Construction Company in Langhorne. Since 2007 he has been parts manager at Lawn Barn home and garden equipment in Woodbourne, PA.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Victoria (Schenk) Newbold, his twin brother James H. W. Newbold (Deborah) of Wrightstown, elder brother W. Webster Newbold (Janet) of Anderson, IN, and many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law in his wife’s family, as well as many cousins. He and Victoria attend Calvary Chapel Central Bucks Church in Chalfont.
Mark was known to his family and many friends as a kind and generous person, who was dependable and diligent, possessing remarkable technical ability as well as a sharp wit. He was a devoted husband and son, attentive to his parents and parents-in-law in their final years. Believing the promises of the gospel, Mark put his trust in Christ for eternal life. All who knew him will greatly miss his strong, loyal, and loving presence.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:30AM until his Memorial Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA. His interment will be held at a later date.
