Marlene G. Kiernicki of Holland died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.  She was 70.

Born in Bloomsburg, PA Marlene was the beloved wife of 50 years to Stanley F. Kiernicki and the daughter of the late Leonard L. and Naomi R. Edgar Witchey.

Marlene has been a longtime resident of Holland who previously has resided for brief periods in her life in Chester, PA and Hopatcong, NJ.  She was active in her daughters’ activities, and was even their Girl Scout leader while living in Hopatcong and again in Holland.  Marlene volunteered and eventually became the board treasurer for Churchville Nature Center.  She enjoyed Organic gardening at her home, the Nature Center, and with the Herb Club at Tamanend Park.  Marlene will be greatly missed but always remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband Stanley, Marlene is survived by her loving daughters Deborah Kiernicki and Linda Kiernicki-Hager, her grandson Gavin Kiernicki, and her siblings: Sharon Barshaw and Leonard Witchey Jr.

Services and interment for Marlene will be conducted privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, 1531 Upper Stump Rd. Chalfont, PA 18914.
