Geraldine Zimmerman Cooper of Doylestown passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at age 74.  She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Louis R. Cooper, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Zimmerman and sister to the late Edward and Henry Zimmerman, the late Anna King, and surviving sibling Joan Yost.

Geraldine worked for many years alongside her husband in the operation of their family business, which they founded in 1976.  Among all her personal achievements, none were greater than the family she had raised with her husband.  Geraldine will be greatly missed by all, but she will always be loved as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Nana.

In addition to her husband Louis, Geraldine is survived by her children and their spouses: Terry Maginnis and Paul, Louis R. Cooper, Jr. and Jami, Vicki Cooper-Doughty and Steve, and Nancy Williamson and Matt.  She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and her sister Joan Yost.

Geraldine’s family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2016 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Creamery Road, Doylestown, Pa 18902.  Interment will be private at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
