Alice M. Wells, of Warminster, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Chandler Hall.
She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice L. Imhof Wells.
Born in New York City, she was raised in the Bronx where she lived until she retired as an assistant principal in the New York City Schools (PS156). She then moved to LeisureTowne in Southampton, NJ where she lived for over 20 years. In 2004, she moved to Ann’s Choice in Warminster and resided the last 3 years in D’Youville Manor in Yardley.
Alice was a faithful communicant of St. Vincent dePaul Church in Richboro, where in past years she served as a lector.
She is survived by her sister: Dolores (Norbert) Brust of Holland; her nephews: Peter (Bernadette) Brust and Michael Brust; her niece: Mary Beth Brust; her great nephew: Christopher (April) and Mark Brust and her great nieces: Casey Brust and Megan Brust.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, April 21st, 2014 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in the St. Mary Chapel at Holy Redeemer D’Youville Manor, 1750 Quarry Rd., Yardley, PA 19067.
Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, C/O St. Vincent dePaul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro, PA 18954.
