George G. Wallace formerly of Holland, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Rose Garden at Ann’s Choice in Warminster. He was 93.
Born in Philadelphia, George was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ward Wallace and the son of the late Robert B. and Margaret G. Sproul Wallace.
George was a proud Navy Veteran of WWII who participated in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy and also in Exercise Tiger.
George is survived by his five children and their spouses: Mark S. Wallace and Bernadette of Pennsburg, PA Joan W. Wentzel and Dave of Atlanta, GA, Barbara W. Billings of Doylestown, PA, Beth W. Davidson and Ray of Doylestown, PA, and Lynn W. Griswold and Kirk of Collegeville, PA. He is also survived by his brother William Charles Wallace, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in remembering his life on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00AM at North and Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Rd. Churchville, PA 18966. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, please remember George through a gift to the above named Church.
