William A. Moss of Holland, PA died peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Symphony Manor of Feasterville surrounded by his loving family. He was 93.
Born in Philadelphia, William was the beloved husband of Margaret R. Hack Moss and the son of the late Jacob and Eva Weber Moss.
William has been a resident and parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church for over 40 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy on a Destroyer Tender ship during World War II. William retired from PECO after 32 years in 1986 as a mechanic for their powerhouse driven electric generators. In his leisure, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his dear family and close friends. William will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love him.
In addition to his beloved wife Margaret, William is survived by his loving children: William A. Moss Jr. and his wife Holly of Chalfont, Bernadette R. Moss of Feasterville, Jeanette M. Snyder and her husband Ken of Sinking Springs, Mary Elizabeth Schachte and her husband John of Ashland, PA, and Joseph A. Moss of Pensacola, FL He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Tuesday evening April 11, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 11:00 to 11:45 am in the Chapel at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. His Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 12 Noon in the main Sanctuary at St. Bede the Venerable Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to St. Bede the Venerable Church at the above address.
