Adam E. Schmitt of Richboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was 23.

Born in Newtown, he was the beloved son of Edward A. Schmitt and Carolyn Schmitt and brother to Ryan and Emily. He was the paternal grandson of Joyce Schmitt and the late James Schmitt and maternal grandson of Florence Paterno and Peter Czajkowski and his wife Carol.

Adam was born from the love of his parents and unfortunately at birth developed Cerebral Palsy. With tender loving care, by his parents, brother, sister and many devoted care givers, teachers and nurses, Adam was able to attend Newtown Elementary School, Richboro Middle School and receive his Certificate from Council Rock South.

Adam as all know had vivacity and enthusiasm and a very Happy Smile. He loved music, the outdoors and going on trips to Tyler State Park. Adams parents would like to thank all those who loved and cared for Adam. “He was loved by many and cherished by all”.

Adam’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday evening April 12^th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Richboro. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Adam’s name may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Association, 102 E. Mermaid Lane Philadelphia, PA 19118.
