David C. Hettrick of Warrington passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017. He was 48.

Born in Lansdale, PA, David was a son of the late Gerald P. and Loretta Palner Hettrick.

David graduated from Pennridge High School and went on to earn his BA in Journalism from Temple University, graduating cum laude. Most often with a guitar in hand and a literary work on his mind, he set out for artistic endeavors including amazing graphic design and playing in his band “Jester’s Tear”. David was also an avid sports fan.

Yet, his intellect connected him to the corporate technology world to work with three prominent corporations.

Career and marriage led him to adventures in Philadelphia, PA and then Washington, DC where his two children were born.

David is survived by his amazing and loving sons: Larsen (8) and Conrad (7) Hettrick and the mother of his children, Tara Rodgers. 

He also leaves behind his sister Sharon Hettrick-Histand and her husband, Jeffrey; his brother, Gary Hettrick and his wife, Lisa; and as a fun Uncle known as “UD” to his nieces and nephews: Matthew Histand (Meghan), Alyson Mueller (Hans), Andrew Histand (Paige), Blaire Cunningham (David), Stephen Histand, Grant Hettrick; and his great-niece Ellery.

Most of all, David will be remembered for his unique spirit and his special laugh. He will be dearly missed.
