John R. Keane Jr., of Richboro, died peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence. He was 75.
John was the beloved husband of 53 years to Eugenia C. “Jeannie” Asterito Keane.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John R., Sr. and Eleanor Keane.
John enlisted into the United States Navy after his graduation from high school and had a long and productive career with Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed supporting the Philadelphia Eagles, Playing golf and fishing with his family and friends. John will be greatly missed but will always be cherished by everyone who has had the pleasure to call him a husband, dad, grandfather, and friend.
In addition to his wife, Jeannie, John is survived by his loving sons: Michael S. and his wife Sharon of Chalfont, Christopher M. and Michelle of Ivyland, and Adam R. Keane of Richboro and his five devoted grandchildren: Justin, Zachary, Madison, Samantha, and Meghan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
