Irene N. Young of Richboro died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook. She was 100.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. Young.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus and Wanda Nowak.

Irene was a resident of Huntingdon Valley and Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Southampton and Holy Savior Church in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Irene is survived by her children, Walter G. Young Jr. and his wife Maryrita of Richboro and Madlyn Wilks and her husband Paul of Warminster. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass at 10:30am on Saturday, April 1^st in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Irene’s interment will be private.
