Frank J. Nemia of Langhorne died on Monday, March 20, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was 69.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Rosalind Scollo Nemia.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he was the doting son of Josephine Gentile Nemia and the late John Nemia. He was the brother-in-law of the late Randy D’Amico.
A graduate of Pace University and was employed as a financial consultant for 40 years. While he took great pride in his job, his happiest times were with those spent with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed a very close relationship with his siblings and his mother. He stayed true to the New York sports teams, and followed the Jets, Mets and Yankees. Frank was a kind and generous man, always willing to lend a needed hand. Frank and his family are very grateful to all of his amazing Doctors, Nurses and other Health Care Providers for their compassion and tireless efforts to ensure that he received the best care and quality of life.
Frank is also survived by his loving daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Jeff Spofford, Melissa and Mike Beans, and Karen and Thom Nemia; his brother and sister-in-law John and Kathy Nemia; his sisters and brother-in-law, Dolly and Dennis Branscum and Connie D’Amico. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Emily, Olivia, Jeffrey and Maria Lynn and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His dogs, Samantha, Daisy and his “granddogs” Jackie, Roxy, Max, Prim Molly, and his “grandcat” Lucky will all miss time spent together.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitations on Thursday, March 23 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. Richboro, PA 18954 and on Friday, March 24 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave. Penndel, PA 19047 from 10:00am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 11:00am. The interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc. 30 E. 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
