Alice M. Cullen of Chalfont died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Hospice, surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. Cullen for 37 years.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Nash McCormick and the sister of the late Hugh McCormick, Dorothy Driscoll, John McCormick and Daniel McCormick. 

Alice had been a resident of Chalfont since 1993 and was retired from the Bucks County Children and Youth after 16 years. She always put her family first and together, they enjoyed many trips to Ocean City, NJ. She loved to travel and read. Alice was a member of the St. Jude Prayer Shawl Ministry and belonged to the Association of Living Rosary, in which she made Miraculous Medal necklaces to be distributed to missions abroad.

Alice will be missed by her loving daughters, Catherine Cullen, Colleen Cullen and Gracemarie Cullen; her sisters, Grace Del Bono and Mary McCormick and her sisters-in-law, Anne Taylor, Elizabeth Kubacki, Maureen DiVirgilio and Gertrude McCormick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Alice’s family will receive condolences on Monday, March 20 from 9:30 until her funeral mass, 11:00am at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA. 

In lieu of flowers, Mass cards would be appreciated.
