Ester M. Traski of Doylestown died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown. She was 91.

Ester was the beloved wife of the late William Traski.

Born in Mount Vernon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Mack and Charity Morris Rowland and was the last of eight brothers and sisters.

Ester was a former resident of New Brunswick, NJ where along with her late husband William, they operated the Lincoln Café on Hamilton Street until their retirement. After retiring, Ester moved to Gastonia, NC and eventually settled in Doylestown over 25 years ago. In her leisure, Ester was an avid doll collector and enjoyed working on her photo albums. She was a true woman of fashion and always had a flair for style. Ester will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Ester is survived by her two children, Esther Jane King of Lahaska and Patricia Shurts of Three Bridges, NJ and the father of Patricia’s children John Shurts of Stockton, NJ. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Shane and Timothy King, Kelly Bousum and her husband Josh and Julie Shurts and her two great grandchildren Owen and Brady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30am until her Funeral Service 10:30am on Thursday April 24th at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.

Her interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown.
