Catharine Darrah Engblom of Langhorne passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her home at the Attleboro Village Retirement Community. She was 97.

She was the wife of the late H. Alexander Engblom with whom she had shared 68 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late William Montgomery and Frances C. Ramsey Darrah.

Catharine was devoted to her family and they were always at the forefront during her life. She and her husband had lived in Philadelphia area in the early part of their marriage before relocating to Bucks County in the early 1950’s. She will be dearly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Surviving are Catharine’s children, Susan Engblom Perettie of Greeneville, TN, Jeffrey A. Engblom and his wife, Nancy, of Yardley, PA and Bruce M. Engblom and his wife, Charis, of Rock Hill, NC. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Her services and interment will be held privately at a later date.
