Thomas J. Moroski Sr. of Newtown died peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was 53. Thom was the beloved husband of Lisa (nee Ruscica), proud father of Thomas Joseph and the son of Regina (nee Elliott) and the late Robert, Sr. Thom is survived by his siblings Robert (Karen), Donald (Kristin), Noelle McLaughlin (Brian), his father and mother-in-law Sebastian F. and Claire Ruscica, sister-in-law Sandra (Robert) McDevitt and numerous nieces and nephews. Dear nephew of Dolores Pierson (Norman) and Kathleen Camaratta (Fred).

Thom was blessed with a second chance and gift of life. He was a UPENN Heart Transplant Recipient May 1, 2007. Although Thom was a 9/11 witness and survivor, it was his ten year struggle with transplant that truly affected many in such a profound way. Our family is thankful to have been a part of his incredible journey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass, 11:00 am at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 Sycamore St. Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Richboro.

In lieu of flowers, Lisa and Thomas Joseph ask that a donation be considered to Penn Heart Transplant Program, Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, c/o Allyse Orsini, Penn Medicine Development, 3535 Market Street Ste. 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
