Margaret M. Romanauski, of Churchville, PA died peacefully with her husband at her side on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Symphony Manor of Feasterville. She was 86.

Peggy was the beloved wife of John for over 60 years.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Margaret Righter and was the loving mother of the late Arlene.

Peggy’s family was the world to her and she could be found every day during the summers at Richboro Swim Club with her four children.  Peggy taught her children the love of swimming and each of them became passionate in competing in the water.  Peggy’s children want to thank her for always driving them to swim practice with a smile on her face, even if it was for a 5 am practice.

In her free time, Peggy enjoyed playing tennis with her sister, Sarah, friends, and her children.

During their retirement, Peggy and John spent the winters in Deerfield Beach, Florida where they enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather, swimming in the ocean, and walking on the beach collecting seashells.

In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Mark and Laura Romanauski; Craig and Lisa Romanauski; and Kurt and Colleen Romanauski.  She will be greatly missed by her sister, Sarah Garcia, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  She will be laid to rest privately at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
