Ira B. Turner III of Langhorne died Monday, January 23, 2017 at his residence. He was 86.

Ira was the beloved husband of 64 years to Elaine Stier Turner.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ira B. Jr. and Grace Rylah Turner.

Ira is survived by his children, Leslie G. Turner, Linda A. Fergione (Anthony) and Scott A. Turner (Whitney). Ira is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ira was a proud and decorated veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean War.

Services and interment with military honors will be held at a future date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
