George Alan Forman of Langhorne passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 76.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the husband of the late Roberta Gordon and son of the late Edgar and Elsie Bendall Forman.

George founded his own independent claims adjusting company in 1974 and operated it for over 35 years. Through his diligent and conscientious work, Forman Adjusters became one of the premier independent adjustment companies in the area. George was an avid collector of many things, and his favorites were antiques and many types of art. Over the years he accumulated a large collection of 18^th Century English Porcelain. Among his hobbies, he found pleasure in genealogy and reading. George also had many pets and was an animal lover who volunteered his time for their care. George will be greatly missed but always loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to cross paths with him.

George is survived by his loving sons and their spouses: Mark Forman and Janet, Jeff Forman and Colleen, and Chris Forman and Dawn and by his five devoted grandchildren: Anthony, Matthew and his wife JoHanna, Megan, Benjamin, and Julianne.

George’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 11:00am until his Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
