Mary G. Mason of Holland passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017 with her family by her side at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne.  She was 75.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. “Frank” Mason with whom she had shared 43 years of marriage. 

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Geraldine E. (Naughton) Kelly.

Mary attended Wildwood Catholic High School before returning to Philadelphia where she graduated with the first graduating class of Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1959.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew Parish in Newtown for over 30 years. 

Mary was employed with the Council Rock School District for over 40 years in a variety of roles including a cafeteria manager for 25 years and more recently a cafeteria monitor at CR South.  She was also very involved with Council Rock Athletics working at both football and basketball games and, more importantly as a loyal attendee and fan.  Mary was also active in the Bucks County Republican Party serving as a committee woman in Northampton Township.

Most of all, Mary’s family and friends will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was fiercely devoted to all those she loved and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her dear children and their spouses Francis "Skip' Mason and his wife Ann Marie, Kellyanne Mason, Denise Melnick and her husband Stephen, and Maureen Mason; her siblings, James A. F. Kelly (Mary Anne) and Denise M. Rouse (the late Paul V.).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Shaina, Ryan, Mary, Andrew and Kevin as well as dearly loved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.(at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.  Her Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery, Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Mary and Frank Mason Scholarship Fund C/O Council Rock High School South, 202 Rock Way, Holland, PA 18966.
