James Juhas of Langhorne died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Hirsch Juhas for 52 years.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Cloud Juhas. After proudly serving two terms in the US Army, James became a very proficient salesman with Borden Foods and Mrs. Paul’s. His real passion was for sports: baseball and football, and he particularly enjoyed watching his children’s and grandchildren’s games. He taught himself how to draw and liked to take, and share, photographs.

James is survived by his two sons, and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Susan Juhas and James and Maureen Juhas. He will be missed by his adoring grandchildren, Joe, Julie, Kimmy, Tara, Callie and Jamie.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 9:30am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 10:30am at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940. Burial will follow at North Cedar Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
