Jeffrey W. Krauss, Esq. of Holland passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 51.
Jeffrey will be missed dearly by his wife of 21 years, Karen L. Miller-Krauss and children Stephanie and Daniel, who were his world. Born in Albany, New York, he was the son of Karen Murphy Krauss and the late Wayne Krauss.
Jeffrey has resided in Holland since 1997. He was a graduate of SUNY Fredonia before he earned his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law where he also met his bride. Jeffrey served as the legal counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Comhar, Inc. in Philadelphia since 2005.
He loved life and participating in outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, boating and sitting by the campfire. He especially liked to spend time in his "happy place," the Adirondack Mountains.
Jeff had a passion for the Boy Scouts of America, both while growing up, and as Cubmaster for his son's Cub Scout Pack. He currently serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 147. For the past 20 years he bowled in the Wednesday night league at Brunswick Lanes.
In addition to his wife, children and mother, Jeffrey's passing was met with sadness by his sister Beverley Krauss (Paul Hussey) of Guilderland, NY. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Loretta Miller of Penndel. Brother-in-law Christopher Miller (Helen) of Walnutport, sister-in-law Deborah Haines (Michael) of Warminster, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, January 13th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Saturday, January 14th in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Jeffrey’s interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Newtown.
