Ida Kozari of Doylestown and formerly of Langhorne passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington. She was 85.

Ida was the beloved wife of the late Julius Kozari.

Born in Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Megyesi Czuczka.

Ida had fled Hungary with her husband and daughter during the Hungarian Revolution of October 1956 under the guidance of the ICEM program. Upon arrival to the US, sponsorship was provided by St. James Episcopal church Langhorne PA. Ida became a US citizen in 1966. She had worked as a cleaning woman at Lavelle Aircraft several years. During those years Ida had educated herself and eventually held a position as Quality Assurance Inspector at Lavelle until her retirement. Ida enjoyed sewing and cooking / baking traditional Hungarian family recipes. Her chicken paprikas, rétes (strudel) and kiffles will be sorely missed.

Ida is survived by her children, Eva M. Kozari and John J. Kozari and his wife, Dawn and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Zachary, Joseph, Kyle, Mattea and Emma Kozari.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Matilda Kiraly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. James Episcopal Church, 330 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047-2899. Her interment will be private.
