John G. Przybylski of Yardley, was embraced by our Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. He was 79.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce L. O'Donnell Przybylski.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John V. and Catherine Hunt Przybylski.

John grew up in St. Anne’s parish in the Port Richmond Section of Philadelphia and went to Northeast Catholic High School.  After High School he joined the US Army and served during the Korean War. Upon returning home he took a job in the mail room of Western Savings Bank and because of his work ethic and dedication he rose over the years all the way up to Executive Vice President.

Along the way John found the love of his life and married her and raised his family.  He worked throughout Philadelphia and was also in Buffalo, NY for a period of time with different banks serving at different Executive positions.  After retiring from the banking industry, he did not really retire; he began a career in real estate to keep himself busy.

Like many of his generation, John did not have many hobbies outside of work, although, he did enjoy music, especially Johnny Cash, watching western movies and painting flowers and other landscapes and was a lifelong baseball coach to his son Steve. However, what he most enjoyed was the time he had with his wife and family.

John is survived by his loving son Steven D. Przybylski, his wife Anastasia, his three cherished grandchildren, Audrie, Nadia and James, all of Doylestown, his loving son John L. Przybylski, his longtime companion Brian Worsech, both of Minnesota, and a great many beloved and grieving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

John’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.  His interment will be held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date.
