Karen B. Duld of Southampton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was 69.
Karen was the beloved wife and sweetheart of Ronald H. Duld for over 49 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Cora Lear Brody.
Karen was a former resident of Richboro for over 30 years before moving to Southampton in 2010. She had worked for many years in the Payroll Department with the Bucks County Youth Center until her retirement. In her leisure, Karen enjoyed quality times spent with her family at the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey. She also enjoyed visiting craft shows and novelty shops in the area. Karen’s true joy and passion in her life was the moments that she shared with grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband, Karen is survived by her children and their spouses, Kimberly Anne Malpezzi and her husband Kenneth of Southampton, Ronald Duld Jr. and his wife Alexandria of North Wales and Jennifer K. Betz and her husband Todd of Feasterville. Karen is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Brody, Carissa, Lucas, Kyle, Nathan and Scarlet; and her sister, Janice Reidel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Brody.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30am until her Funeral Service 10:30am on Monday, January 9th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Karen’s interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Richboro.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or Trisomy 21 Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
