Richard Joseph Furch of Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania and formally Princeton, New Jersey passed away on Monday December 26, 2016 at his home with his loving wife and family by his side.  He was 80.

Richard was the beloved husband of 59 years to Judith Ann Ashton Furch.

Born in Princeton, New Jersey he was the son of the late Joseph Augustus and Mary Rousseau Furch.

Richard served in the National Guard.  He retired from Local 9 Plumbers & Pipefitters.

In addition to his wife Richard is survived by his children Lou Anne Furch, Bonnie Jean Furch Abrahams and partner Charles Lebegern, Richard Joseph Furch, II and partner Ed Hosler.  He also leaves behind his brother Frank J. Furch, and his adoring grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Abrahams Ruff with husband John Ruff and Brandon Arthur James Abrahams.

Richard is also survived by sister in laws Maryann Furch and Sharon Holcombe; his brother in law, Richard E. Reed; numerous nieces, nephews and his little Pug Miss Lilly Rose.

His services and interment will be held at a later date.
