John M. Tuszl Jr., of Churchville, died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. He was 83.
He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Caroline E. Schlegel Tuszl.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, John was the son of the late John M., Sr. and Elizabeth Logan Tuszl.
John was a proud Veteran of the Marine Corps who served our country during the Korean Conflict and a graduate of North Catholic High School. John founded General Metal Company Inc. in in 1966 which is currently headquartered in Bensalem. He enjoyed working, watching the Eagles play, and spending time with his family. John will be greatly missed, but forever remembered and loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love him.
In addition to his beloved wife Caroline, John is survived by his loving and devoted children: Susan C. Knecht and her husband Michael, Michael G. Tuszl and his wife Emilia, and John S. Tuszl and his wife Linda. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Michael (Tracy), Christie (Andy), Brian, Marisa, Johnny, Matthew, and Olivia and his great grand daughter Ariana.
John’s family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 8:30am until his Funeral Service 10:30am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
