Nicholas J. Kouch of Holland died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 68.

Nicholas was the beloved husband of 44 years to Jeanne M. Spruhde Kouch.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Marjorie Kouch.

Nicholas was a resident of Philadelphia for over 30 years before moving to Holland. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School and a veteran of the US Army. Nicholas retired in 2010 as a supervisor with the US Postal Service in Philadelphia with many years of faithful service. He enjoyed quality times spent with his family especially traveling to Disney World, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Nicholas will be deeply missed by his friends and will always be remembered as a special hero to his family.

In addition to his wife Jeanne, Nicholas is survived by his 2 daughters, Tricia J. Kouch and her husband Ken of Holland and Amanda J. Higgins and her husband Paul of Feasterville. He is also survived by his brothers Ron, James, Paul, Mark and John Kouch, his sister Majorie Posivak, his brother-in-law Skip Spruhde, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend and cherished granddaughter Lauren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 2:00pm until his Funeral Service 3:30pm on Friday, December 23rd in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Nicholas’s interment will be private.
