William R. Howard, a long time resident of Holland, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 with family by his side at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 86.

William was the beloved husband of 66 years to Anna M. Marrs Howard.

Born in Baltimore, MD he was a son of the late William F. and Josephine S. Moore Howard.

William spent his entire career which spanned 57 years with Crown, Cork, & Seal, now Crown Holdings. He dedicated his life to his career and it showed in how he handily worked his way from the shipping floor to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations; a position he held until his retirement.

William was a simple man who valued looking after his loving wife and family and the satisfaction of a job well done with hard work and dedication. In retirement he enjoyed boating and travelling with his wife and spending time with his adoring family. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Deborah J. Howard, Donna L. Williams (the late Olan), and William F. Howard (Mao) and their children, Emily and Timmy; his grandson, Derric J. Lefebvre (Ioana); his great-grandson, Caleb J. Lefebvre; and his siblings, Phillip James Howard (Darlene) and Diane Leberknight (Paul).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday,December 22, 2016 from 10:30 AM until his Funeral Service 11:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will be private.
