Jon A. Prosek, of Newtown, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2016 at the age of 70.

Jon is the beloved husband of Linda Bollinger Prosek of 46 years.

Son of Walter and the late Edith Stanke Prosek, he is the brother of the late Earl Prosek.

A graduate of Rutgers University and American University, Jon served proudly as a sergeant in the US Army and as a detective with the Washington, D.C., Police Department prior to entering business, where he spent many years in the textile industry as a Regional Manager.

Jon was a loving husband and father who dedicated himself to his family. His interests included classical music, politics, and sports. He had an inspiring appreciation for the simple joys in life. In addition to his wife, he will be greatly missed by his children, Scott and Carrie; and Scott’s fiance’, Fusae; and his sister Marilen.

Jon’s private funeral service was held on December 3 and he was interred with military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on December 5, 2016.
