Richard E. Lagerman of Feasterville passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with his loving wife and family by his side at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 78.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy Dustman Lagerman with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son the late Edmund and Kathryn Kazmerskie Lagerman and brother of the late Arlene Hinski.

Rich graduated from Northeast Catholic and went on to serve proudly as a reservist for the United States Army. Rich was employed for 25 years with DeSoto Paints and later served as a service technician for over 20 years for Weir Specialty Pumps up until his retirement. Following retirement he was employed as a driver for the Faulkner Organization in Trevose.

Rich had many passions in life including his love of music and his role as a disc jockey for WRDV in Hatboro where he was known for his show “The Band Box” each Thursday evening. He avidly attended flea markets to add to his record collection and was passionate about caring for his 2004 Ford T-Bird.

Above all else, Rich will be remembered by his family and friends for his gentle and kind heart and for his endless love and devotion for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Rich is survived by his children, Brian Lagerman and his wife, Laurie, Laura McElroy and her husband, Michael, Joan Gaughens and her husband, Philip, and Daniel Lagerman and his wife, Chandra; his sister, Diana McFadden and her husband, Hugh; his grandchildren, Jared Lagerman, Amy DiSalvo (Daniel), Scott (Colleen), Sarah, and Carly McElroy, Kathryn and Erin Gaughens, and Daniel, Colten, and Brynn Lagerman; and his great-grandson, Daniel DiSalvo, Jr. He was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of his second great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday evening December 2, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954 and on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd, Holland, PA 18966 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM.
