Patricia A. (nee Lynch) Glanzmann, of Warrington, died peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. She was 84.
She was the beloved wife of 65 years to Edward J. Glanzmann. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Georgina (nee Sheedy) Lynch and mother of the late Patricia A. Ekenstam (Edward).
Patricia was a resident of Warrington, for the past 51 years. She was a graduate of J. W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls, a faithful communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, where she was a member of the E P’s that meet every month.
Patricia, was loved by many but was cherished by her family, for she along with her husband were the glue that made the Glanzmann home a vibrant place to live. Patricia made their home life very special and warm, with smiles and laughter that will be remembered for years to come.
In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her devoted children; the Rev. Edward J. Glanzmann, Jr. OSB, Joan McDonald and her husband Michael, Kathleen A. Ward and her husband Michael, Robert R. Glanzmann and his wife Maureen. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday evening December 2, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain. And to her Funeral Mass Saturday December 3, at 11:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church 856 Euclid Ave. Warrington. Interment will follow in St. Andrew Parish Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Monastery of Holy Cross, c/o Rev. Edward J. Glanzmann, Jr. OSB, 3111 S. Aberdeen St. Chicago, IL 60608.
