William Damico of Holland died peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2016 with his family by his side at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 91.

Born in Philadelphia, Bill was the beloved husband of Jean E. Laraio Damico for the past 58 years, son of the late Nicola and Rose D’Ulisse Damico and predeceased by his 8 siblings.

Bill was a graduate of Northeast High School, class of 1943. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1952. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, specializing as an Aviation Ordinance specialist. Upon receiving his degree from Drexel University, Bill went to work at the Frankford Arsenal where he spent over 35 years as a Mechanical Engineer, and was very proud of his service to his country.

As the youngest of 9 children Bill was affectionately known to his many nieces and nephews as “Uncle Bill”. He was faithful communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the private Pilot Association; he even had his own plane at one time. If anyone knew how to relax it was Bill, especially with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed for his warm handshake and welcoming smile.

In addition to his beloved wife Jean, he is survived by his dearest children; Mary L. Murray and her husband Sean, Lisa A. Damico-Beyer and her husband Joseph, Donna M. Brauckmann, and William R. Damico and his wife Christine.  He is also survived by his 10 devoted grandchildren: Kait, Kelly, Lauren, Daniel, Kara, Emily, Allison, Caroline, Sean and Eric.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 9:00 - 10:15AM with his Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Bede the Venerable Church.
