Betty Jane Maurer, of Warminster, died peacefully at home Tuesday, November 15, 2016 with her family by her side. She was 87.

She was the beloved wife of 68 years to late John Maurer.

Born in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of the late Viola and Harry Neill and sister of the late Allen and Richard Bell and Catherine McMordie.

Betty resided in Philadelphia for 44 years prior to living in Warminster for 43 years.

Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and took great pleasure in sharing time with them.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Hunter and her husband Steve of Warrington and her son Michael Maurer of Warminster.  She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren; Joseph J. Maurer and his wife Barbara and their daughter Anne Sophia, Kristen Tricia McCarthy and her husband Joseph and their daughters Alexandra Joella and Aubry Lynn and Heather Nicole Hunter.
