Thomas M. Gambaro of New Hope passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 84.

Thomas was the beloved husband of 54 years to the late Evelyn V. Gervais Gambaro.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Thomas was the son of the late Michael and Mary DeVito Gambaro.

Thomas proudly served our country during the Korean War in the Navy. Upon his return from service, he worked for and rose through the ranks to become an executive at several Wall Street brokerage firms.

Thomas was a resident of Hicksville, Long Island, NY before retiring and moving to New Hope in 1996. He was an active resident of the Village of Buckingham Springs, and he enjoyed playing cards, playing softball, bowling, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Always quick with a smile and full of warmth, Thomas will be greatly missed but always loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.

Thomas is survived by his children, Ann V. Gambaro Hodul her husband Christopher of Alexandria, VA and Thomas M. Gambaro Jr. and his wife Kristi of Farmingdale, NY. He is also survived his two cherished grandchildren, Alexa and Grace.

Thomas’ family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Interment will be private.
