Charlene Luff Reilley of Doylestown died on Monday, October 17, 2016, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. She was 70.
She was the beloved wife of 49 years to John T. Reilley, III and a month shy of their 50th anniversary.
Born in Abington, Charlene was the beloved wife of John T. Reilley, III, and daughter of the late Charles and Louise Traub Luff and sister of the late Cynthia Gail Leck.
Charlene was a resident of Doylestown for the past 28 years; she lived most of her life in Richboro and was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1964.
Charlene worked in the clerical department of Honeywell Corp. in Ft. Washington for several years before taking a position as a bookkeeper for ARC Manufacturing in Feasterville. Charlene was a former member of the Addisville Reformed Church, Richboro.
She was an outdoors gal; she loved to ski, play softball and especially looked forward to her Trail rides in Peace Valley Park, Green Lane, Lehigh Valley and Tyler Parks. She was a member of the Bucks County Horse Parks Association, and would often be seen at Quarter Horse Western Horse Shows.
When she was not riding, she was supporting her favorite baseball team the Philadelphia Phillies and she was always their number 1 fan. She enjoyed a good game of Pinochle, never missed a chance to go collecting Longaberger Baskets and occasionally took a bus trip to the Jersey Shore to play a game of chance. She will be sadly missed for her warm smile and kind words and support for everyone.
In addition to her beloved husband John, she is survived by her 3 devoted sisters, Barbara Fehnel, Doris Foster and her husband Gary, Janet Baringer and her husband William. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charlene’s family will receive condolences on Saturday October 29, 2016 from 1:00pm until her Memorial Service 2:30 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 or the SPCA of Quakertown, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
