Lucy C. Guffy Haslam of Richboro died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Chandler Hall on Friday September 30, 2016.  She was 85.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Haslam.

Born in Allentown, PA Lucy was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rose Mastria Guffy and sister to the late William Guffy, Ann Harrison, Angelina Male, Rose Marie Ruppert, and Susan D’Huyvetters.  Lucy was raised with her family in Easton, PA.

In the 1960’s, Lucy and her family moved to Bucks County.  She enjoyed cooking for family and close friends, but she truly cherished the times she spent with her children and grandchildren during their summers at the shore.  Lucy will be greatly missed, but always loved by everyone who has come to know her and call her a friend, sister, Mom, and Nana.

Lucy is survived by her loving and devoted daughters and their spouses: Roseann Schultz and Rick, and Patricia Goffredo and Dan.  She is also the loving Nana of Jonathan, Julia, Kaitlyn, and Sarah, the sister of Alexander and Charles Guffy, and the aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lucy’s Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd. (at Tanyard Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will be conducted privately at a later date in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19111.
