Florence E. Federici of Langhorne died Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Chandler Hall Hospice. She was 89.

Florence was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Dr. Valerio J. Federici who died in 2015 at the age of 92.

Born in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pauline Babusik Mikulka who were from Bratislava, Czechoslovakia.

Florence was a graduate of Brooklyn College in New York and had worked as a laboratory technician at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she met Valerio. She was a homemaker and stayed home to raise her children after getting married and moving to Philadelphia. Florence was a long time resident of Langhorne where she was active with the St. Mary Women’s Guild. She was not only President for many years, but will be remembered for running trips around the world and her love of travel.

Florence is survived by her children, Christina Owens and her husband, Michael of Lawrenceville, GA, Dr. Benigno Federici and his wife, Jana of Suffolk, VA and David Federici and his wife, Christine of Langhorne. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Samantha, Steven, Kori, Maria, Valerio, Gabriella, Carter and Marco. She was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Mikulka, and her grandson, Alexi Owens.

Services and interment will be held privately by her family.

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate nurses and caregivers at Chandler Hall Hospice Facility and especially Christine Federici, her daughter in law for her love and care of Florence for the past 10 years.
