Katherine A. Rice, 63, formerly of Edison, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Anne “Lucille” Jeffrey, and was predeceased by her first husband, Samuel Rice and her second husband, James Giannetti, Sr.
Born in Englewood, Kathy grew up in Iselin and Edison where she lived for many years before settling in South Brunswick and most recently in Burlington. Kathy was the co-owner of Jeffrey Paving Inc. She loved to travel, especially to Florida. Her greatest passion was to be the best Mother and Grandmother and she lived her life for her children and grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her dear father, Ted Jeffrey and his wife Nancy Herr, her loving children, Jenny Rice, Julie Rice DiFrancesco and her husband Kevin, Christina Mascellino and her husband John, and James Giannetti, Jr. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Christopher LaRosa; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Patricia Jeffrey; her beloved grandchildren, Kristopher, Lucie, Johnny and Anthony, and her cherished niece, Kristy.
Katherine’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 21 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954, until the start of her funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 S. Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 291 Durham Rd, Newtown.
