Nance Greenfield (nee DiPaolo) passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 with her loving family by her side at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 86.

Nance was the loving and devoted wife of Thomas J. “Bud” Greenfield.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elena (nee Ventresca) DiPaolo.

A graduate of Little Flower High School, Nance went on to work as an administrative assistant for the City of Philadelphia Streets Department and eventually as an administrator for Gigliotti Group, Inc. in Feasterville.

Nance was an avid reader and traveler. She enjoyed trying new recipes out in her kitchen and was a true “social media butterfly” who loved taking in all the many photos of her friends and family on Instagram.

Most importantly, Nance will be remembered for her warm smile, her cunning sense of humor, and for being known as “everyone’s Grandmom Nance”. She was devoted to her family first and foremost and was the biggest fan at her grandchildren’s sporting events. She will be dearly missed as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Thomas (Patti), Gerald (Chris), and Rev. James Greenfield, OSFS and her grandchildren Matthew, Meghan, Andrew, Samantha, and Timothy. She also leaves behind her brother Robert DiPaolo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dino DiPaolo, and dear friend, Ruthie O’Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and to her Funeral Mass 7:30 PM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA, 18940. Her interment will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940 where relatives and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery’s office no later than 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefer donations to the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, 2200 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, DE, 19806.
