Marguerite L. Weaver of Newtown passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at Brookdale Northampton in Richboro. She was 81.
Marguerite was the beloved wife of 60 years to Richard D. Weaver.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Dooney) Lafferty and was predeceased by her son R. Douglas Weaver, her sister Elizabeth Kline, her nieces Mary Beth Dahmer and Cathy Perindozie and her nephew John Kline.
Marguerite retired after 25 years of service in the Administrative Office of Courts in the Appellate Research Division of the State of New Jersey. She was a Communicant of the Church of St. Andrew and in her leisure, she was an accomplished artist. Marguerite was loved by everyone that met her and will be remembered by her husband and family as a great woman could be, as a wife, partner, mother, grandmother and employee. She was truly the moral steward in their home.
In addition to her husband Richard, Marguerite is survived by her children Timothy (Judy), Mark, Maureen Ciambrello and her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Meghan, Mark Ryan, Timothy, Nicholas, Dylan, David, Lauren and Chandler.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, September 15th from 6:00-8:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954 and again on Friday, September 16th from 10:15am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Marguerite’s interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington D.C., 20090.
