Jean Faulkner Trautman of Holland died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Twining Manor on Saturday, September 10, 2016. She was 88.
Jean was the beloved wife of the late Dean Trautman and was born into the family of the late Sydney and Faye Bell Hannah Faulkner in Detroit, MI.
Jean and her husband Dean were first introduced by their mutual friends Ruth and Richard Skinner. They were married on June 5, 1953 and enjoyed decades of fun with the Skinner’s and their growing families. Jean had a multitude of interests, talents, and love that revolved around crafting, cooking, baking, bowling with friends, dining and savoring fine wine. Most importantly Jean cherished the times she spent with her family and friends in Ocean City, NJ. Jean will be greatly missed but always in the hearts and minds of everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.
Jean is survived by her ever loving and devoted children: Barbara Cline and her husband Gary, Janice Chapman and her husband Doug, and Robert Trautman and his wife Rachel. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Stephen (Kathleen), Laura, Paxson (Natalie), Alexis, Sophia, and her great grandchildren: Ellie and Emery, sister-in-law Arlene, nephew Chuck, nieces: Judy, Nancy, and Lois, and her surrogate nieces: Jodi, Patty, and Carol.
Jean’s family will receive friends on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 12 noon until her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA.
