Charles J. Miller, of Lower Gwynedd, died on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He was 88.
He was the beloved husband of Ann "Nancy" Frances Cutcheon Miller.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Gerald and Mary Riling Miller, brother of the late Robert, Gerald, and Edward Miller and his 2 sisters; Mary Lou Hall and Madeliene Miller.
Charlie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his family. He was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook and he was famous for his chocolate chip cookies. He loved to read and was a longtime fan of Agatha Christie. Charlie will be dearly missed by those whom he shared his boundless love with.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Eric J. Miller and his wife, Jennifer, his 2 grandsons, Michael & Brendan Miller and a nephew Thomas Hall and several other nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church 428 South Main St. North Wales, PA 19454. His interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to either Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19143 or Abington Hospice at Warminster, c/o Pam Boyd, 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
