Joseph P. Costanzo, Jr. of Newtown passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was 55.

He was the beloved husband of 26 years to Shamaine J. Loglisci Costanzo.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Joseph P. Costanzo, Sr. and Josephine Giannini Costanzo of Newtown.

A proud native of South Philadelphia, Joe graduated from Bishop Neumann High School and went on to attend Temple University on a baseball scholarship. He was an extremely talented athlete from a young age and all through his life he played baseball and went on to become a talented and avid golfer.

Professionally Joe excelled in the automotive business and during his career became extremely well known for his successful consultation with various dealerships.   No challenge was too big for him and his countless accomplishments showed it. He was dedicated, ethical, and tenacious and these qualities aided him to develop a sterling reputation in his field. He was meticulous through and through; whether it was his own appearance or that of his home and his cars, you could tell how proud he was of the life he made for himself and his family.

Most of all however Joe will be remembered for his warmth, his cunning sense of humor and his unwavering devotion and love for “his girls”. Words cannot describe the love he showed to his wife, his daughters, and all of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Joseph is survived by his adoring daughters, Paloma M. and Lourdes M. Costanzo as well as many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (Richboro, PA 18954) and to his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. His interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Costanzo Family College Fund c/o TD Bank (any location).
