George L. Hamilton of Richboro, PA died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at his residence. He was 53.
George was the beloved husband of 23 years to Rebecca A. Olson Hamilton.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late George Alvin and Katherine Potter Hamilton and the son-in-law of the late Loren and Bettianne “Becky” Zoet and the brother of the late Gerald Wayne Hamilton.
George was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Granby High School and eventually joined the US Air Force where he served our country for eight years. Upon his discharge from the service, he worked as a driver for Poly-Bond Inc. in Waynesboro, Virginia for twenty years. George and his family relocated to Richboro PA where he has been a resident for the past 4 years. In his leisure, George Hamilton was the epitome of a family man and he enjoyed bike riding, bowling, and football. His other interests include history, horticulture, and most of all his relentless and divine sense of humor.
In addition to his wife Rebecca, George is survived by his children, Olivia, George II, Dereck, Tara, Ian, Montana and Jon and his four grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00am on Thursday, September 8th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. George’s interment will be private.
