Joan E. Arrow of Warwick died peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 86.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alexander J. Arrow, Jr.
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Anne Elizabeth Hamilton Power.
Joan attended Archbishop Hallahan High School and went on to work as a clerk before dedicating herself to raising her six children. She possessed a deep devotion to her Catholic Faith and was a faithful parishioner of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church.
Most importantly Joan’s family was paramount to her and she will be dearly missed as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her children, John and his wife, Jackie, Joan Jauss and her husband, Ed, James and his wife, Jade, Bud and his wife, Eileen, Joseph and his wife, Maryanne, and Patricia and Randy. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Chrissy (Tim), Jacquelyn (Joe), Joanne (Brian), Johnny, Bob (Ingrid), Michael, Alexa (Rich), Ed (Jenna), Tori (Kyle), Jimmy (Alicia), Ricky, Michele (Jerry), Brian (Kate), Jennifer (Mark), Gregory (Katie), Stephen (Christine), Matthew, Joey, Bow, Bridget, Heather, Brittany, and Kathleen; and her 20 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Emily, Theresa, Peter, Regina, Kathleen, Charlotte, Warren, Kailyn, Ryder, Zach, Sam, Lillian, Mikayla, Jimmy, Michael, Anthony, Alex, Nora, and Jack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Martin, Mary, Joseph, and Sarah.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Joan’s family on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison, PA 18929. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Poor Clares c/o Monestary of St. Clare, 1271 Langhorne-Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047-1297.
