Dr. Mahendra Kumar Logani, beloved husband of Shashi Prabha Logani, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

Born in India in 1941, he was a son of Khem Chand and Kartar Devi Logani.  Dr. Logani was a distinguished professor of biomedical physics and immunology at Temple University School of Medicine. He was a highly respected in the South Asian community for his service and leadership as the former Chairperson of the Council of Indian Organizations.  Among his family, friends and colleagues, he was known for his wisdom, wit and compassion. He loved science, philosophy, music and poetry.  But most of all, he adored and was adored by his family.

In addition to his wife, Dr. Logani is survived by his daughter, Anupma Logani Kulkarni, and son, Deependra Kumar Logani.  He also leaves behind his granddaughter Kashi Anupma Kulkarni. 

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA.  His cremation will be private.
