Howard E. White Sr. of Southampton died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Majestic Oaks Nursing Home in Warminster. He was 84.

Howard was the beloved husband of 62 years to Ethel K. Mann White.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Earl and Margaret Gerhart White.

Howard was a resident of Southampton for over 45 years having formerly resided in Philadelphia. He was a Union Carpenter for many years and was a proud member of Local #8 in Philadelphia. Howard was a veteran of the US Army and in his leisure time enjoyed bowling and fishing. He will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife Ethel, Howard is survived by his two children, Diane and Howard E. White Jr., both of Southampton. He is also survived by his sister Janet Howse.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9:00am until his Funeral Service 10:00am on August 1, 2016 in St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA 18974. Howard’s entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
