Richard W. Webster of Malaga, NJ and formerly a long time resident of Bucks County passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2016. He was 57.
Born in Abington he was the beloved son of Katherine Hallworth Webster and the late Robert W. Webster.
Richard graduated from Council Rock High School and went on to earn his associate’s degree in cabinet making from Bucks County Community College.
A talented woodworker, he was employed by Sparks in Philadelphia specializing in fixtures and displays for retail stores and trade shows. Richard was deeply passionate about furniture making and shared his creations with friends and family who will treasure them always. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating and fishing on the Delaware Bay.
Most of all Richard had a kind and gentle way about him that will be remembered by all of his family and friends and most especially by his nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own. He will be dearly missed as a beloved son, brother, and uncle.
In addition to his mother Richard is survived by his siblings, Philip Webster and his wife, Karen, David Webster and his wife, MaryJo, John Webster and his wife, Peggy, and Ellen Gustafson and her husband, Richard. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Mary, Courtney, Holly, Sarah, Gregory, Brian, Marlaina, Jack and Sean; and his great-nieces and nephews, Madelyn, Olivia, Cooper, Carter, and Brooklyn.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 1:00 PM until his Funeral Service 1:30 PM at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974. His interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. John’s United Methodist Church Endowment Fund at the above address.
