Denise R. Ramjit of Doylestown, PA died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Thomas Jefferson Neuroscience Center, Philadelphia. She was 53.

She was the beloved wife of Timothy Ramjit for 27 years.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA she was the daughter of Sylvester J. Salio of Forty Fort, PA and the late Viola (nee Hassey) Salio.

Denise was a resident of Doylestown for the past 14 years and formerly lived in Harleysville, PA. She attended Kings College in Wilkes-Barre and graduated from Temple University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Class of 1986.

Denise had an accomplished career in the field of clinical research, with responsibilities including design, implementation and management of global clinical studies and programs for multi-national pharmaceutical companies. She was also well published, with over thirty scientific publications and abstracts.

In her leisure time, Denise loved to cook, and listen to music. She enjoyed life and loved to laugh. Most of all, her family came first and foremost and she cherished the special times spent with them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

In addition to her beloved husband and father, she is survived by her daughter, Nicole D. Ramjit and her son, Matthew T. Ramjit, both of Doylestown, PA, her brother, Sylvester J. Salio Jr. of Swoyersville, PA, her sister, Maria Salio-Tayoun and her husband, James, of Chadds Ford, PA, as well as 3 nephews and 3 nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday evening, July 17, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901 and on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Saint John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA 18914.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 550, Chicago, IL 60631.
